COVID-19 Statement 3/30/2020

March 30th, 2020

Please note that YES, A Cut Above is still open for business and actively servicing our customer’s properties. Even as the Governor of Virginia announced EO-55-Temporary-Stay-at-Home-Order-Due-to-Novel-Coronavirus-(COVID-19), our Social Distancing Initiatives stand as-is and this recent update by the Governor does not change anything from our first statement on March 18th, 2020 (below).  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us via the “contact” button at the bottom of this page and we’ll get back to you shortly.

Thank you,

David Castleman, President & CEO – A Cut Above

To our customers,

I wanted to reach out to our customers to tell you that our crews are still servicing properties and our office team is operating remotely as the nation continues to try and slow the spread of COVID-19.  The entire company is taking measures in “Social Distancing” for 2-4 weeks as recommended by the CDC Here. Below this message I’ve made some notes to show you how we’re implementing the Social Distancing Initiative here at A Cut Above during these next 2-4 weeks.

While we are not foreseeing any interruption in services feel free to visit our web-site for the most up-to-date information that we have available, and know that we are doing our part to keep our communities safe as well as to continue to work diligently while communicating to our customers of any changes.

Thank you,

David Castleman, President & CEO – A Cut Above

Social Distancing Initiative 2020 – A Cut Above

The Crews
We’re postponing all morning and afternoon “daily team huddles” at our shop location and instead each crew will go directly to their vehicles and depart to service their routes. Our Production Team Leads will help prepare vehicles/trailers/tools/equipment before the crews arrive in the mornings and after the crews leave in the afternoons. Typically we knock on the door before beginning service however now we’ve decided to temporarily discontinue this action.

Office Staff
The entire office team works remotely already so the only thing that changes here is that we’re not going to be running in-person consultations during the next 2-4 weeks, and we’re not having any in-person team meetings. Please send in pictures/videos to our staff via email and we’ll gladly review and do a consultation via phone/email/video-call as needed.
