I couldn't be more pleased with A Cut Above. When I contacted them, I had been using a friend's son to mow my lawn and he was unable to provide mowing anymore. My lawn was horribly overgrown due to this. I contacted them via email and received a call from Sam within hours. I signed up for their mowing service and a team was here within 24 hours. Sam, Dave, and Jon are friendly, professional, and recommend additional services but do not "bully" you into taking them - they take no for an answer. They send emails alerts when they'll be out, if there's a change (usually due to weather), and once the service is completed. They are up front with their pricing, posting their prices on their informative website. All in all, I am very happy I decided to go with them.

Easy customer service and reliable lawn service. The team emails out the schedule each week and then follows up if there are any changes due to weather. So convenient and never left wondering when the next mow is. My yard has looked clean and professional all year. I recommend this company.

The actual yard service is good. No problems there, but it is their communication with their customers that is really excellent. The automated email notices for when service is going to occur is great, but then after every service there is another email requesting feedback about the service. I've given feedback a few times and they are very responsive and even appreciative to have it. Keep the customer happy!

A Cut Above is fantastic with their communication and provides excellent service. We always receive an email regarding the timing of our scheduled service, as well as one after it is completed. In addition, we can easily interact with the company and receive rapid responses. In one case, we had guests coming and requested a previously unscheduled service. They agreed with no hesitation, and were out prior to our guests arriving! We recommend them and are very satisfied with their services!

After reviewing several other lawn services, and after poor service from another company that charged more per cut, I selected this company. I was really surprised to be able to do everything online, and my first cut was done within 2 days of requesting service. I have been very pleased with the service and recommend Cut Above to everyone!

These guys are excellent! They really know what they are doing and understand lawns. I love the ease of signing up for a new service and there is a lot of education online. Their prices are upfront and right on their website. You can sign-up for services online and never have to deal with a home sales pitch. On the other hand, they also will come out for no extra charge to give you an assessment if you need one. Our lawn didn't grow grass....PERIOD. In less than a year, we need our lawn cut on a weekly basis. I think their lawn treatment, although pricey, is WELL WORTH it. My only suggestion, I wish they could provide winter services - maybe snow removal or holiday lighting! They are so reliable and their costs are reasonable that I would trust to add these services, if available, to my plan.

Most well run landscaping company I have ever come across. From the leadership to the newest landscaping hands, they are all very knowledgable, and friendly. I left a review three years ago, but today I am editing it because of the follow through we have seen when it comes to quality. We had a hardscape patio, walkways all around the house, and an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven installed in Winter of 2015/16. The A team installed undergrounds electric and gas pipelines, AV, low voltage cabling, etc. They handled the permits, expediting, and communications with the manufacturers to make sure everything was seamless and smooth. Over the past three+ years there was one small area that settled and when asked about it the owner sent his best guys out to see it and set up a remediation plan. Scheduled the warranty work quickly and the quality exceeded our expectations again. So in the end, if you want the best quality work, a trusted company to work with, and the right people standing behind what they provide, choose A Cut Above!

I almost never leave reviews but after using A Cut Above for three years now I owe it to them to brag about how great they are! So when I say they are excellent it's because they are...in every possible way! Not only do they do a quality job, they offer a wide range of customizable services, they communicate effectively, perform services on time, and if weather prevents a service they always put you back on the schedule ASAP! I love that I never have to chase them down or babysit them. They just do what they say they are going to do...and honestly it's refreshing.

We've been using A Cut Above for over a year now, and their yard cleanup and other services are always first rate. Even my husband and sons have commented on how amazing our yard looks after they come. They don't cut corners or miss details (and they don't nickel and dime you for everything either). If I've ever needed anything in addition or extra attention to something, they don't hesitate to address it. I also appreciate that they send someone out once or twice a year to just look our yard over to see how things look, etc. They also proactively reach out to me a couple of times a year to see how I think they're doing and if anything needs improving. Their email communications and online portal are also great. Their teams do a wonderful job and always leave everything clean and picked up as well. The best investment ever!

A Cut Above is absolutely the best lawn care and landscaping/hardscaping company that i have used. I realize it will sound like i am going overboard in this review but i have to say that i have used A Cut Above for years and have never been disappointed. They are reasonably and fair with their pricing, great on communication, on time and professional. They work with you directly to make sure that what they are doing meet your needs and vision. The team clearly takes pride in their work. Chris, Dave and all their crew are great! Last year i had a major project to replace my back patio which resulted in basically redoing my entire backyard. I had a very specific and unique design that i found. I knew clearly what i wanted it to look like and Dave was excellent at working with me on a daily basis to make sure that what they built met my vision and expectation. From planning and layout to paver selection, color, wall block, etc, there was not a detail that we did not work thru. Once the team started they were here every morning on time and worked diligently even in the hottest of hot days. They had no problem with any questions I posed or changes that i wanted to make along the way. Needless to say, I was absolutely thrilled with the outcome. I still walk outside and smile when i see the finished product and cannot wait to open up the patio this year for use. Additionally, i use A Cut Above for my regular lawn care and maintenance. Again, they are great on scheduling and communication. Always letting their customers know when they will be out to mow or care for the lawn. They are always on time and the results are great. I would not hesitate to use them over and over again. I highly recommend 'A Cut Above'! Thanks Dave and Chris for all the work you have done around here.

Super easy to schedule, the team works fast as does great work. We had them out to remove mountains of leaves and they worked into the night to finish. Spring cleanup also went well, made suggestions to cut back some trees that look great, cleaned out the welled basement. Wish other service companies in ashburn operated as smoothly as these folks!

A Cut Above Services and profesionalism is what jumps out at you when you meet them for the first time. They thoroughly survey your property and give you the proper estimates expected, not to mention, the affordable pricing that comes with using thier company. Another aspect that you normaly do not experience with landscaping companies is constant communication regarding your services scheduled. A Cut Above gives you weekly updates on your services schedule even as it purtains to the weather so you are always aware of when they are coming. This is a major benefit in itself and the fact they are flexible with your schedule if needed. Lastly, their work is impeccable with precision on how they treat your property and affords me less stress about my land and more time with my kids sports. If your not using A Cut Above now, it would be in your best interest to give them a LOOK!!

I submitted online quote requests to numerous lawn companies and they were not only super responsive they were also very positive and communicative where the other companies did not respond at all. Chris was punctual (early) to our consult listened to want I was looking for and honest with what I could expect. Not only that he was able to keep the project within my budget and answer my numerous questions. Their crew was also punctual and did a wonderful job! I plan to utilize A Cut Above for lawn maintenance going forward. Super awesome customer service is hard to come by lately and I was super impressed. I would give them and extra star if I could.

Great service and easy to work with. I receive an email prior to any scheduled service so I know when they're coming and can request changes if necessary. Management is very responsive to service requests and quick to visit the house to check on work in progress or answer questions. Emails are always answered in a timely and professional manner and I know that if I have a problem they will be quick to address it. Rates are reasonable and value for services received is good.

The workers are incredibly efficient, taking very little time to complete each job. My gardening is a work in progress, and the workers somehow know what to cut and what to leave alone. Always get alerts before each cut. Cost is very competitive. Getting a quote was so easy.

Over the years I had hired several companies and individuals but they never did an outstanding job. I couldn't get any of them to trim the euonymous shrubs in my front yard which were almost covering the whole windows. A Cut Above came in and trimmed them beautifully as well as the other shrubs. Truly the best, look no further. I have had A Cut Above do my leaf removal these last two years and they have done an exceptional job. This year my neighbor next door who has Parkinson Disease likes to get some exercise when he can and happened to be raking his yard when A Cut Above showed up to my house. My neighbor told me he had raked several piles on the side of where our yards come together and A Cut Above blew those piles into my yard to haul away - something he appreciated a lot. It truly was a heartfelt gesture. The guys at A Cut Above care about their work and how well they do it. A Cut Above stepped in to my lawn care this past year and helped me salvage my lawn. I have used them for mowing, lawn care applications and leaf removal. In every aspect of their service I have found the individuals performing the work to be professional, courteous and effective. We have two small dogs that love to run so I am very concerned about insuring gates are closed and that I am aware that folks are here to perform work. The workers have been great about knocking on the door and insuring that I am aware of their presence. In addition in the past I have used a local nursery for same services and paid a lot more without any where near the same quality of service. I have already signed up for the upcoming year.

This was my first time using ACA (lawn winter prep). I got an email notification giving me detailed instructions on how to set up an account online and set up payment information. I then got another email giving me a window as to when the work would be performed. This was great, as it allowed me to coordinate being home, as I wanted to check them out in person. Two gentlemen showed up: one started mowing, and the other started with the aerator. As one completed a task, he would start on the next, and completed the job in a timely fashion. I'm very pleased with the job, and will definitely use them again. HIGHLY recommended.

We have now used A Cut Above twice for 2 different jobs. We were extremely pleased both times. This particular time they did some work on an existing patio which included redoing our stairs as well as adding on an outdoor fireplace. Dave is wonderful work with. He treats you the way he would like to be treated with kindness and professionalism. He is great to talk to about what you are wanting and hoping for. The guys that did the work were awesome. They did great work and we could not be happier with our new outdoor space. I was extremely pleased with the fact that they wanted me to be 100% happy throughout the entire process if that meant changing something I wanted changed they did it without complaint. A Cut Above is awesome with communication. They are very quick to respond with any questions or info. I cannot wait to use A Cut Above again for our next project. I highly recommend!
