One Time Cleanup FAQs
Weeding and re-edging of existing flower beds, trimming of shrubs/hedges, fresh mulch applied, leaf/small debris removal (pre-emergent herbicide is applied to flower beds before mulching during spring time only).

It’s our goal to complete your cleanup service within 1–2 weeks of signup, weather permitting.
Our goal is to install between 1″–2″ of fresh mulch during our cleanups. Going too deep can damage plants, while too little won’t provide enough protection.
If your property requires more than the allotted amount, additional mulch is billed at $40 per cubic yard upon completion.
Allotted amounts:
- Under 1/8 Acre: 5 cubic yards
- 1/8 Acre: 6 cubic yards
- 1/4 Acre: 7 cubic yards
- 3/8 Acre: 8 cubic yards
- 1/2 Acre: 9 cubic yards
Yes, shrubs and hedges under 12′ are trimmed. Certain plants may be skipped if trimming would affect blooming.
Spring: Roses, Sedum, Beautyberry, Boxwoods, Ornamental Grasses, and more.
Summer: Azalea, Lilac, Forsythia, Hollies.
Fall: Iris, Phlox, Hostas, Ornamental Grasses.
Winter: Yew, Holly, Boxwood, Hydrangea, Rose.
Typically NOT Trimmed: Hydrangea, Lilac, Forsythia, Azalea, Rhododendron.
Tree trimming is not included. Small tree work may be added for an additional fee. Larger work is referred out.
Spring cleanups include a pre-emergent herbicide before mulching. Hand-pulling is prioritized, with limited use of targeted products when needed.
No — just ensure gates are unlocked and the service area is clear. Notifications are sent before and after service.
Mowing is available as a $50 add-on.
Most properties do not require removal. Mulch removal is available upon request for an additional charge.
Weed fabric is not included. Customer-provided fabric may be installed for an additional fee.
Brown mulch is standard. Black mulch is available at an additional cost. We also offer cleanups with no mulch.
Full payment is required at signup for one-time services under $2,000.
Email notifications are sent before and after service. Job details are also available in the client portal.
Please remove toys, hoses, and unlock gates prior to service.
